Arizona High School Softball - Palo Verde holds off San Carlos
March 20, 2023: San Carlos, AZ 85550 The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the Palo Verde Titans (Tucson, AZ) and the host San Carlos Braves (San Carlos, AZ), saw Palo Verde's softball squad nip San Carlos by a count of 11-9.
The Titans now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Augustine Catholic for a non-league match on Wednesday, March 22. Palo Verde will face a Wolves squad coming off a 17-2 league win over Sequoia Pathway Academy (Maricopa, AZ). The Wolves record now stands at 5-1.
With the loss, San Carlos falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Braves travel to Ash Fork (Ash Fork, AZ) to face the Spartans in a non-league match on Thursday, March 23. The Spartans enter the match with a record of 2-5. Ash Fork lost 12-4 in their recent non-league match against Wickenburg (Wickenburg, AZ)
