March 20, 2024: New Lenox, IL 60451 In Wednesday's non-league test, the visiting St. Rita Mustangs lacrosse squad scored a tight 7-4 victory over the Lincoln-Way West Warriors.
The Mustangs now have a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host St. Laurence for a non-league test on Saturday, March 23. St. Rita will face a Vikings squad coming off a 18-1 non-league loss to Niles Notre Dame (Niles, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 0-1.
In their next game, the Warriors face the Dunlap Eagles (Dunlap, IL) in a South Suburban test, on Saturday, March 23. Lincoln-Way West will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 0-2 record after their 18-9 league loss to Lockport (Lockport, IL).
