The Cornerstone Charter Cardinals (Greensboro, NC) softball nipped the visiting River Mill Jaguars (Graham, NC), 8-7 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Cardinals (5-3) will now prepare for their bout against North Stokes (Danbury, NC). The Vikings go into the non-league bout with a 4-4 record.
