Lower Richland Diamond Hornets (Hopkins, SC) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Crestwood Knights (Sumter, SC), 18-2 in a league match.

With the triumph, Lower Richland moves its record to 3-2 on the season. The Diamond Hornets travel to Hartsville (Hartsville, SC) to confront the Red Foxes in a 4A Region 5 match on Tuesday, March 25. The Red Foxes come into the match with a record of 6-2.

The Knights now possess a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lee Central for a non-league match on Monday, March 24. Crestwood will confront a Stallions squad coming off a 12-1 league loss to Lewisville (Richburg, SC). The Stallions record now stands at 4-2.
