Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Archbishop Mitty Monarchs (San Jose, CA) and the host Valley Christian Warriors (San Jose, CA), observed Archbishop Mitty's volleyball team hold off Valley Christian by a count of 3-2.

The Monarchs (7-0) will now prepare for their contest against Bellarmine College Prep (San Jose, CA). The Bells enter the WCAL contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Bellarmine College Prep got by Junipero Serra (San Mateo, CA), 3-0, in a league contest.
