The Fairfax HomeSchool Hawks softball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Bishop Ireton Cardinals to 2 in the Hawks non-league win on Thursday.

The Hawks now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Saint John Paul the Great Catholic for a non-league battle on Friday, March 21. Fairfax HomeSchool will confront a Wolves team coming off a 21-16 league win over Collegiate (Richmond, VA). The Wolves record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, Bishop Ireton moves to 2-3 on the season. The Cardinals host St. John's (Washington, DC) to confront the Cadets in a battle on Friday, March 21.
