Louisiana High School Softball - Caldwell Parish drops to Sterlington
March 20, 2025: Sterlington, LA 71280 Sterlington Panthers (Sterlington, LA) supporters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Caldwell Parish Spartans (Columbia, LA), 11-1 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Sterlington improves its record to 9-3 on the year. The Panthers host Carroll (Monroe, LA) to play the Bulldogs in a 3A District 1 game on Friday, March 21. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 3-6. Carroll lost 19-2 in their recent league game against North Webster (Springhill, LA)
The Spartans now hold a 7-11 record. They play next when they travel to St. Frederick for a non-league game on Tuesday, March 25. Caldwell Parish will play a Warriors squad coming off a 12-7 non-league win over Holy Savior Menard (Alexandria, LA). The Warriors record now stands at 13-4.
