North Carolina High School Softball - Northeastern bested by Pasquotank County
March 20, 2025: Elizabeth City, NC 27909 The Pasquotank County Panthers triumphed over the visiting Northeastern Eagles softball squad by a count of 16-1 in Thursday's league challenge.
Next, the Panthers meet the Hertford County Bears (Ahoskie, NC) in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A challenge, on Friday, March 21. Pasquotank County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Bears enter the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 23-5 non-league loss to Bertie (Windsor, NC).
The Eagles (0-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC). The Bears enter the Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A challenge with a 1-7 record. In their last challenge, Hertford County was routed by Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC), 18-0, in a league challenge.
