In Friday's non-league bout, the Trumann Wildcats (Trumann, AR) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Marked Tree Indians (Marked Tree, AR), by a tally of 18-6.

The Wildcats now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Hoxie for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 30. Trumann will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 15-10 non-league loss to Bay (Bay, AR). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-4.

With the defeat, Marked Tree drops to 3-4 on the year. The Indians travel to Rivercrest (Wilson, AR) to clash with the Colts in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 23. The Colts go into the challenge with a record of 0-4. Rivercrest lost 3-1 in their recent league challenge against Walnut Ridge (Walnut Ridge, AR)
