The West Rowan Falcons baseball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Carson Cougars to 6 in the Falcons non-league win on Friday.

The Falcons now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host South Rowan for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 24. West Rowan will play a Raiders team coming off a 13-3 non-league win over Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 3-0.

With the defeat, Carson falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC) to encounter the Ragin' Bulls in a non-league outing on Saturday, March 21. The Ragin' Bulls enter the outing with a record of 6-0. Hickory Ridge won 9-0 in their recent non-league test against West Cabarrus (Concord, NC)
