California High School Softball - Alpaugh bounces Laton

March 20, 2026: Laton, CA 93242

The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Alpaugh Buffalos (Alpaugh, CA) and the host Laton Mustangs (Laton, CA), observed Alpaugh's softball team notch a victory over Laton by a tally of 30-20.

The Buffalos (4-3) will now prepare for their bout against Kings Christian (Lemoore, CA). The Crusaders go into the East Sierra bout with a 3-5 record. In their last bout, Kings Christian was routed by Farmersville (Farmersville, CA), 12-2, in a non-league contest.

The Mustangs now hold a 2-9 record. They play next when they host Wonderful College Prep Academy for a East Sierra match on Wednesday, March 25. Laton will battle a Lions team coming off a 14-0 non-league loss to Del Oro (Bakersfield, CA). The Lions record now stands at 0-2.
