The Boyd County Lions softball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Johnson Central Golden Eagles to 3 in the Lions non-league win on Friday.

The Lions now possess a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Highlands for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 21. Boyd County will confront a Bluebirds team coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Simon Kenton (Independence, KY). The Bluebirds record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Johnson Central moves to 0-1 on the season. The Golden eagles host George Rogers Clark (Winchester, KY) to confront the Cardinals in a non-league battle on Saturday, March 21.
