The R-S Central Hilltoppers (Rutherfordton, NC) softball the visiting CHASE Trojans (Forest City, NC), 4-0 in Friday's league outing.

The Hilltoppers now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Rutherford for a Western Piedmont 3A/4A test on Tuesday, March 24. R-S Central will clash with a Cavaliers squad coming off a 19-3 league win over West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 4-3.

The Trojans (6-3) will now prepare for their test against Patton (Morganton, NC). The Panthers go into the Western Piedmont 3A/4A test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, Patton was routed by Draughn (Valdese, NC), 15-0, in a league test.
