The South View Tigers the host Jack Britt Buccaneers softball team by a margin of 4-1 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Tigers now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westover for a Eastern Sandhills 5A/6A outing on Tuesday, March 24. South View will encounter a Wolverines team coming off a 27-3 non-league loss to Union (Rose Hill, NC). The Wolverines record now stands at 0-2.

The Buccaneers (0-8) will now prepare for their test against Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC). The Patriots go into the Mid-South 7A/8A test with a 5-1 record. In their last test, Pinecrest held off Lee County (Sanford, NC), 15-5, in a non-league test.
