With the win, George Wythe moves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Maroons host Giles (Pearisburg, VA) to battle the Spartans in a Mountain Empire bout on Thursday, March 24. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Giles lost 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against Eastern Montgomery (Elliston, VA)

The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 4-2 non-league win over Rural Retreat (Rural Retreat, VA).
