March 21, 2022: North Las Vegas, NV 89032 The crowd at Monday's league match between the Las Vegas Wildcats (Las Vegas, NV) and the host Cheyenne Desert Shields (North Las Vegas, NV), saw Las Vegas's softball squad achieve victory over Cheyenne by a count of 11-0.
The Wildcats now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Legacy for a 4A Mountain match on Wednesday, March 23. Las Vegas will face a Longhorns squad coming off a 18-2 league win over Western (Las Vegas, NV). The Longhorns record now stands at 8-2.
With the loss, Cheyenne falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Desert shields travel to Durango (Las Vegas, NV) to face the Trailblazers in a 4A Mountain match on Wednesday, March 23. The Trailblazers enter the match with a record of 2-8. Durango won 17-1 in their recent league match against Bonanza (Las Vegas, NV)
