March 21, 2023: Waynesboro, GA 30830 Spectators at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Trinity Christian Crusaders (Dublin, GA) and the host Edmund Burke Academy Spartans (Waynesboro, GA), saw Trinity Christian's baseball squad knock off Edmund Burke Academy by a count of 5-1.
Coming up next, the Crusaders play the Mary Persons Bulldogs (Forsyth, GA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, March 23. Trinity Christian will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 10-6 record after their 16-5 non-league win over Stockbridge (Stockbridge, GA).
The Spartans now possess a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Augusta Prep Day for a GIAA AA District 4 battle on Thursday, March 23. Edmund Burke Academy will play a Cavaliers squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Edmund Burke Academy (Waynesboro, GA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 4-7.
