Lumpkin County Indians (Dahlonega, GA) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Gilmer Bobcats (Ellijay, GA), 3-2 in a league challenge.

Next, the Indians confront the Wesleyan Wolves (Norcross, GA) in a 3A Area 7 challenge, on Friday, March 24. Lumpkin County will attempt to better on its 6-4 season record. The Wolves enter the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Decatur (Decatur, GA).

The Bobcats now have a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pickens for a 3A Area 7 challenge on Friday, March 24.
