North Carolina High School Softball - Goldsboro bounces Beddingfield
March 21, 2023: Wilson, NC 27893 Goldsboro Cougars (Goldsboro, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Beddingfield Bruins (Wilson, NC), 18-5 in a league challenge.
The Cougars now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Princeton for a Neuse Six 2A challenge on Thursday, March 23. Goldsboro will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 14-4 non-league win over East Wake Academy (Zebulon, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-2.
With the loss, Beddingfield falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to North Johnston (Kenly, NC) to face the Panthers in a Neuse Six 2A challenge on Thursday, March 23. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 4-3. North Johnston won 13-6 in their recent league challenge against Spring Creek (Seven Springs, NC)
