Texas High School Softball - San Benito bounces Rivera
March 21, 2023: San Benito, TX 78586 The San Benito Greyhounds routed the visiting Rivera Raiders softball squad by a count of 16-1 in Tuesday's league battle.
The Greyhounds (22-3) will now prepare for their battle against Harlingen (Harlingen, TX). The Cardinals go into the 6A Region IV District 32 battle with a 11-9 record. In their last battle, Harlingen topped Hanna (Brownsville, TX), 5-4, in a league battle.
The Raiders now sport a 11-5 record. They play next when they host Weslaco for a 6A Region IV District 32 battle on Friday, March 24. Rivera will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 9-2 league loss to Los Fresnos (Los Fresnos, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 4-7.
