The Grant Lancers crushed the visiting Sherman Oaks CES Knights baseball team by a tally of 8-2 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Lancers now hold a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Poly for a East Valley bout on Friday, March 22. Grant will face a Parrots team coming off a 5-4 league win over Grant (Van Nuys, CA). The Parrots record now stands at 1-4.

Next, the Knights face the East Valley Falcons (North Hollywood, CA) in a Valley bout, on Wednesday, April 3. Sherman Oaks CES will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record. The Falcons enter the bout with a 2-0 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Community Charter (Lakeview Terrace, CA).
