The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Paul Laurence Dunbar Bulldogs (Lexington, KY) and the host West Jessamine Colts (Nicholasville, KY), saw Paul Laurence Dunbar's volleyball squad nip West Jessamine by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Paul Laurence Dunbar upgrades its record to 3-0 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Tates Creek (Lexington, KY) to play the Commodores in a District 43 bout on Tuesday, March 26. The Commodores go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Tates Creek won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Frederick Douglass (Lexington, KY)

The Colts now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Danville Christian Academy for a non-league bout on Monday, March 25. West Jessamine will play a Warriors squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Dayton (Dayton, KY). The Warriors record now stands at 1-1.
