North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Sanderson drops to Broughton

March 21, 2024: Raleigh, NC 27605

Broughton Capitals (Raleigh, NC) boosters exited the stadium content Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Sanderson Spartans (Raleigh, NC), 17-3 in a league battle.

The Capitals now own a 9-2 record. They take the field next when they host Warren Township for a non-league battle on Friday, March 22. Broughton will clash with a Blue Devils squad coming off a 15-6 non-league win over Lakes (Lake Villa, IL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-0.

In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Enloe Eagles (Raleigh, NC) in a CAP 6 battle, on Tuesday, April 2. Sanderson will attempt to advance on its 2-5 season record. The Eagles come into the battle with a 6-4 record after their 12-4 league loss to Athens Drive (Raleigh, NC).
