Virginia High School Lacrosse - Orange County can't get by James Monroe
March 21, 2024: Orange, VA 22960 In Thursday's non-league test, the visiting James Monroe Yellow Jackets lacrosse squad scored a tight 11-10 victory over the Orange County Fighting Hornets.
The Yellow Jackets now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host DC International for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 26. James Monroe will face a Dragons squad coming off a 16-1 non-league loss to Chantilly (Chantilly, VA). The Dragons record now stands at 4-3.
In their next game, the Fighting Hornets face the Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA) in a Jefferson test, on Friday, March 22. Orange County will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Black Knights come into the test with a 1-0 record after their 12-4 non-league win over Tandem Friends (Charlottesville, VA).
