March 21, 2024: Montevallo, AL 35115 The American Christian Academy Patriots softball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Montevallo Bulldogs to 0 in the Patriots league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, American Christian Academy improves its record to 10-2 on the year. The Patriots host Bibb County (Centreville, AL) to clash with the Choctaws in a 4A Area 6 game on Friday, March 22. The Choctaws come into the game with a record of 6-4. Bibb County won 11-1 in their recent non-league game against Northridge (Tuscaloosa, AL)
In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the West Blocton Tigers (West Blocton, AL) in a 4A Area 6 game, on Tuesday, April 2. Montevallo will attempt to improve on its 0-12 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 10-5 record after their 10-3 non-league win over Thorsby (Thorsby, AL).
