Virginia High School Softball - Menchville bounces Bethel
March 21, 2024: Newport News, VA 23602 The Menchville Monarchs routed the visiting Bethel Bruins softball squad by a final score of 13-1 in Thursday's league battle.
The Monarchs (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Hickory (Chesapeake, VA). The Hawks go into the non-league battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Hickory Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA), 0-0, in a league battle.
The Bruins now possess a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Woodside for a Peninsula battle on Monday, March 25. Bethel will confront a Wolverines squad coming off a 16-1 league loss to Phoebus (Hampton, VA). The Wolverines record now stands at 3-2.
