The crowd at Thursday's league match between the St. Anthony Saints (Long Beach, CA) and the visiting Mary Star of the Sea Stars (San Pedro, CA), saw St. Anthony's softball squad nip Mary Star of the Sea by a count of 9-3.

The Saints now sport a 12-8 record. They take the field next when they host Paraclete for a Del Rey match on Tuesday, March 26. St. Anthony will face a Spirits squad coming off a 5-2 league win over Bishop Amat (La Puente, CA). The Spirits record now stands at 17-2.
