Bells Panthers (Bells, TX) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Howe Bulldogs (Howe, TX), 4-2 in a league match.

With the triumph, Bells advances its record to 12-2 on the season. The Panthers host Whitewright (Whitewright, TX) to battle the Tigers in a non-league match on Saturday, March 22. The Tigers come into the match with a record of 7-5. Whitewright lost 7-2 in their recent league match against Collinsville (Collinsville, TX)

The Bulldogs now have a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pottsboro for a 3A Region II District 11 match on Tuesday, March 25. Howe will battle a Cardinals squad coming off a 7-2 non-league win over Tom Bean (Tom Bean, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 7-3.
