Brookeland Wildcats (Brookeland, TX) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Chester Yellowjackets (Chester, TX), 6-3 in a league match.

With the triumph, Brookeland advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Kountze (Kountze, TX) to battle the Lions in a non-league match on Saturday, March 22. The Lions come into the match with a record of 12-7. Kountze won 14-3 in their recent league match against East Chambers (Winnie, TX)

The Yellowjackets now have a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Milford for a non-league match on Friday, March 28.
