The Franklin County Bulldogs (Meadville, MS) baseball the visiting Port Gibson Blue Waves (Port Gibson, MS), 6-2 in Friday's league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tylertown for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 25. Franklin County will clash with a Chiefs team coming off a 21-2 league loss to West Marion (Foxworth, MS). The Chiefs record now stands at 7-7.

With the defeat, Port Gibson drops to 6-8 on the year. The Blue waves host O'Bannon (Greenville, MS) to clash with the Greenwaves in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 22. The Greenwaves go into the challenge with a record of 6-3.
