Virginia High School Softball - Fluvanna County bounces Wilson Memorial
March 21, 2025: Palmyra, VA 22963 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Fluvanna County Flying Flucos (Palmyra, VA) and the visiting Wilson Memorial Green Hornets (Fishersville, VA), observed Fluvanna County's softball team prevail over Wilson Memorial by a tally of 8-0.
The Flying Flucos (2-0) will now prepare for their bout against Madison County (Madison, VA). The Mountaineers go into the non-league bout with a 0-2 record. In their last bout, Madison County was routed by William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA), 16-10, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Green Hornets clash with the Broadway Gobblers (Broadway, VA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 24. Wilson Memorial will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Gobblers go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 17-7 non-league win over Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA).
