In Friday's non-league outing, the visiting Poquoson Islanders soccer squad scored a nice 8-0 victory over the Franklin Broncos.

The Islanders (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Lakeland (Suffolk, VA). The Cavaliers go into the non-league outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Lakeland was overwhelmed by Colonial Heights (Colonial Heights, VA), 3-1, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Broncos confront the Brunswick Bulldogs (Lawrenceville, VA) in a Tri-Rivers outing, on Saturday, March 22. Franklin will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a 0-2 record after their 7-0 league loss to Sussex Central (Sussex, VA).
