Virginia High School Soccer - Windsor knocks off Franklin
April 30, 2025: Franklin, VA 23851 Fans at Wednesday's league battle between the Windsor Dukes (Windsor, VA) and the host Franklin Broncos (Franklin, VA), saw Windsor's soccer squad knock off Franklin by a count of 4-1.
The Dukes (4-5) will now prepare for their battle against Greensville County (Emporia, VA). The Eagles enter the Tri-Rivers battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Greensville County tipped Surry County (Dendron, VA), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Broncos battle the Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech Dragons (Petersburg, VA) in a Tri-Rivers battle, on Friday, May 2. Franklin will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Dragons enter the battle with a 1-7 record after their 3-1 league loss to Southampton (Courtland, VA).
