The Lindale Eagles triumphed over the visiting Athens Hornets softball squad by a count of 14-5 in Friday's league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the Canton Eagles (Canton, TX) in a 4A Region II District 15 challenge, on Tuesday, March 25. Lindale will attempt to upgrade on its 13-6 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 12-5 record after their 11-0 league win over Mabank (Mabank, TX).
