The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Rural Retreat Indians (Rural Retreat, VA) and the host George Wythe Maroons (Wytheville, VA), observed Rural Retreat's softball team notch a victory over George Wythe by a final score of 15-1.

The Indians (2-0) will now prepare for their bout against Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA). The Pioneers go into the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Fort Chiswell was routed by Chilhowie (Chilhowie, VA), 11-1, in a non-league bout.
