In Saturday's non-league game, the host Alameda Hornets baseball team scored a nice 11-3 win over the Freedom Falcons.

The Hornets (7-2) will now prepare for their game against Berkeley (Berkeley, CA). The Yellowjackets go into the West Alameda County - Foothill game with a 7-1 record. In their last match, Berkeley notched a victory over James Logan (Union City, CA), 9-0, in a non-league match.

The Falcons now have a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clayton Valley Charter for a non-league match on Tuesday, March 24. Freedom will battle a Ugly Eagles squad coming off a 6-3 non-league win over Granada (Livermore, CA). The Ugly Eagles record now stands at 8-2.
