March 22, 2022: Marshall, TX 75670 The Sulphur Springs Wildcats baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the host Marshall Mavericks to 4 in the Wildcats league victory on Tuesday.
The Wildcats (3-4) will now prepare for their match against Pine Tree (Longview, TX). The Pirates go into the 5A Region II District 15 match with a 4-9 record. In their last match, Pine Tree was edged by Spring Hill (Longview, TX), 4-3, in a non-league match.
The Mavericks (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Hallsville (Hallsville, TX). The Bobcats go into the 5A Region II District 15 match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Hallsville was edged by College Station (College Station, TX), 3-2, in a non-league match.
