March 22, 2022: San Diego, TX 78384 In Tuesday's league contest, the Bishop Badgers (Bishop, TX) softball team overwhelmed the host San Diego Vaqueros (San Diego, TX), by a margin of 15-2.
With the triumph, Bishop moves its record to 22-3 on the year. The Badgers host Banquete (Banquete, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a 3A Region IV District 30 contest on Friday, March 25. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 2-5. Banquete won 6-3 in their recent non-league contest against Refugio (Refugio, TX)
In their next game, the Vaqueros play the Falfurrias Fightin' Jerseys (Falfurrias, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 30 contest, on Friday, April 8. San Diego will attempt to move on its 2-7 season record. The Fightin' Jerseys come into the contest with a 1-4 record after their 23-0 league loss to Bishop (Bishop, TX).
