Alabama High School Softball - Daphne bounces Foley
March 22, 2022: Foley, AL 36535 The crowd at Tuesday's league match between the Daphne Trojans (Daphne, AL) and the host Foley Lions (Foley, AL), saw Daphne's softball squad achieve victory over Foley by a count of 12-0.
The Trojans now sport a 23-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Montgomery for a non-league match on Thursday, March 24. Daphne will face a Vikings squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to Baker (Mobile, AL). The Vikings record now stands at 9-12.
With the loss, Foley falls to 5-9 on the campaign. The Lions host Fairhope (Fairhope, AL) to face the Pirates in a 7A Area 2 match on Thursday, March 24. The Pirates enter the match with a record of 17-1. Fairhope lost 3-1 in their recent non-league match against Beulah (Valley, AL)
