In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the Horizon Huskies (Scottsdale, AZ) baseball squad triumphed over the host Higley Knights (Gilbert, AZ), by a final score of 9-0.

With the win, Horizon upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Huskies travel to Cactus Shadows (Cave Creek, AZ) to encounter the Falcons in a 5A Northeast Valley challenge on Thursday, March 23. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 7-6. Cactus Shadows won 6-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Higley (Gilbert, AZ)

With the defeat, Higley falls to 4-9 on the season. The Knights host La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM) to encounter the Bears in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 25. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 10-2. La Cueva won 7-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Columbine (Littleton, CO)
