First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Hertford County Bears (Ahoskie, NC), 9-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Nighthawks confront the Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC) in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A challenge, on Monday, March 27. First Flight will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Aces enter the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 8-1 league loss to Currituck County (Barco, NC).
