March 22, 2024: Cape Girardeau, MO 63703 The Kirkwood Pioneers baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Central Tigers to 0 in the Pioneers non-league victory on Friday.
The Pioneers (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Ladue Horton Watkins (St. Louis, MO). The Rams go into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Ladue Horton Watkins was overwhelmed by St. Dominic (O'Fallon, MO), 11-4, in a non-league match.
The Tigers (1-5) will now prepare for their match against Festus (Festus, MO). The Tigers go into the Class 5 District 1 match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Festus was overwhelmed by Valle Catholic (Ste. Genevieve, MO), 10-0, in a non-league match.
