Kentucky High School Softball - Apollo bounces Trinity
March 22, 2024: Owensboro, KY 42301 Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Apollo Eagles (Owensboro, KY) and the visiting Trinity Raiders (Whitesville, KY), witnessed Apollo's softball squad prevail over Trinity by a count of 11-1.
The Eagles now sport a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Meade County for a non-league match on Saturday, March 23. Apollo will face a Green Waves squad coming off a 7-3 non-league win over Mercy (Louisville, KY). The Green Waves record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, Trinity moves to 1-2 on the season. The Raiders host Hopkins County Central (Madisonville, KY) to face the Storm in a non-league match on Saturday, March 23. The Storm go into the match with a record of 4-5. Hopkins County Central lost 10-0 in their recent non-league match against Trigg County (Cadiz, KY)
