March 22, 2024: Bristol, VA 24202 John Battle Trojans (Bristol, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Ridgeview Wolfpack (Clintwood, VA), 4-1 in a league challenge.
The Trojans now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gate City for a Mountain 7 challenge on Thursday, March 28. John Battle will face a Blue Devils squad coming off a 12-1 non-league loss to Elizabethton (Elizabethton, TN). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Ridgeview falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Wolfpack travel to Twin Valley (Pilgrims Knob, VA) to face the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 27. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 1-0.
