Louisiana High School Baseball - University Lab sneaks past Catholic - N.I.
March 22, 2025: New Iberia, LA 70560 The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the University Lab Cubs (Baton Rouge, LA) and the host Catholic - N.I. Panthers (New Iberia, LA), saw University Lab's baseball team get by Catholic - N.I. by a tally of 5-4.
The Cubs (15-7) will now prepare for their battle against Port Allen (Port Allen, LA). The Pelicans enter the 3A District 6 battle with a 15-3 record. In their last battle, Port Allen held off White Castle (White Castle, LA), 17-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Panthers face the Riverside Academy Rebels (Reserve, LA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, March 27. Catholic - N.I. will attempt to upgrade on its 13-9 season record.
