The Santa Clara Bruins baseball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Del Mar Dons to 2 in the Bruins non-league win on Saturday.

The Bruins now own a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cupertino for a El Camino test on Thursday, March 27.

With the defeat, Del Mar drops to 1-7 on the year. The Dons travel to Ann Sobrato (Morgan Hill, CA) to play the Bulldogs in a Santa Teresa test on Tuesday, March 25. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 6-2. Ann Sobrato won 5-3 in their recent non-league test against North Monterey County (Castroville, CA)
