The Vancleave Bulldogs baseball team scored 8 runs and held the host East Central Hornets to 5 in the Bulldogs league win on Saturday.

The Bulldogs now own a 12-4 record. They take the field next when they host Gautier for a 5A Region 4 test on Tuesday, March 25.

With the defeat, East Central drops to 5-11 on the year. The Hornets travel to Stone (Wiggins, MS) to play the Tomcats in a 5A Region 4 test on Tuesday, March 25. The Tomcats go into the test with a record of 6-11. Stone lost 10-4 in their recent league test against Wayne County (Waynesboro, MS)
