Gretna East Griffins (Gretna, NE) fans left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Standing Bear Grizzlies (Lincoln, NE), 5-0 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Gretna East advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Griffins travel to Elkhorn (Elkhorn, NE) to battle the Antlers in a non-league match on Monday, March 24. The Antlers come into the match with a record of 1-0. Elkhorn won 11-4 in their recent non-league match against Bellevue East (Bellevue, NE)
