The Seneca Fighting Irish baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Lexington Minutemen to 5 in the Fighting Irish non-league win on Saturday.

The Fighting Irish now hold a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Putnam County for a Tri-County test on Tuesday, March 25. Seneca will play a Panthers team coming off a 5-3 non-league win over Delavan (Delavan, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 3-0.

With the defeat, Lexington drops to 2-2 on the year. The Minutemen host Dwight (Dwight, IL) to play the Trojans in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 26. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 2-1.
