Illinois High School Baseball - Henry-Senachwine sneaks past Seneca
April 3, 2025: Henry, IL 61537 The crowd at Thursday's league battle between the Henry-Senachwine Mallards (Henry, IL) and the visiting Seneca Fighting Irish (Seneca, IL), saw Henry-Senachwine's baseball team get by Seneca by a tally of 3-2.
The Mallards (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Dwight (Dwight, IL). The Trojans enter the Tri-County battle with a 8-2 record. In their last battle, Dwight held off Roanoke-Benson/Lowpoint-Washburn (Roanoke, IL), 5-4, in a league battle.
Next, the Fighting Irish face the Herscher Tigers (Herscher, IL) in a non-league battle, on Friday, April 4. Seneca will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 7-1 record after their 1-0 league win over Streator (Streator, IL).
